Established nationally in 1948, CSI has continued its mission to raise public awareness and enhance the scientific understanding of heart diseases across India.

The Jharkhand Chapter works locally to strengthen cardiac care, support practitioners, and organize academic and awareness activities for clinicians, trainees, and the community.

Who We Are
The Cardiological Society of India – Jharkhand Chapter is a regional branch of the national CSI, committed to elevating cardiovascular health outcomes through professional collaboration, scientific education, clinical research, and community engagement.

Our Legacy
CSI was formed on 4th April 1948 in Calcutta (now Kolkata), predating many international cardiology associations, with a strong commitment to combating cardiovascular disease and related mortality.
